hl7 - Use of _include in FHIR -


in fhir query spec states _include parameter can added query url request specified referenced resources returned in full prevent further network requests retrieve these resources.

i.e.

diagnosticreport/search?_include=diagnosticreport.subject&_include=patient.provider

this construct requires know resources going referenced in result set in advance of query being made. suspect resources such "observation" there potentially many profiles each profile potentially having different extensions, not case.

is feasible have syntax whereby of referenced resources "included"?

umm, might possible. though there's risk you'd swag of resources had no idea why getting. , server might more inclined reject kind of request. it's lot slower server - has evaluate lot more content decide references include or not.

css - Text drops down with smaller window -
