internet explorer 10 - IE 10 scrollbar and form buttons look like wingding font characters -


i first saw when tried ie 10 beta while , thought resolved in full release. not so. i've tried uninstalling way version ie8. wingding buttons problem show when have ie 10 installed.

about me: windows 7 ultimate 64bit graphics chipset ati radeon hd 3800 series

the ie 10 scrollbar , form interfaces use "segoe ui" font-family includes symbol, regular, bold, semibold. once installed "text-based" anomalies in interface buttons correct including forms, , ie10 scrollbar up/down buttons.

the font part of default fonts installed in windows 7. reason beta-ie must have corrupted font-set. fortunately able copy fonts computer running windows 7.
