internet explorer - Struggling to open PDF file in IE -


im struggling open pdf file in internet explorer

console shows warning 

"html1527: doctype expected. shortest valid doctype "<!doctype html>"."

markup rendered

i've tried disabling "display pdf in browser" option adobe reader preferences, still no luck.

to allow internet explorer open pdf directly, ensure acrobat viewer add-on enabled.
