excel - Conditional Formatting (IF not empty) -


how conditionally format cell if not blank grey?

i tried 'not equal', didn't work.

i using windows office 2003 windows xp @ work. don't see same feature below:

edit: figured wrong. in production (actual work excel), filled white color. wasn't excel file, not aware of before.

you can use conditional formatting option "formula is". 1 possible formula is

=not(isblank($b1))

=$b1<>""
