Can only see comments for built in MATLAB files -


so, has never happened before, reason, unable view default matlab file. is, *.m file comes matlab program, (for example 'fft', 'transpose', 'angle', etc).

for example, if wanted inspect how inverse tangent being computed, was: 

open atan

right however, *.m file nothing comments in file, no actual code.

what going on?? have matlab 2013a. have never seen before. why cant inspect how matlab running commands?

this common, instance try edit sum, not able see code.

when referring matlab built-in functions it's meant functions implementation not carried out matlab language embedded program. built-in functions part of tmw know-how , therefore unavailable general user.
