web api for ASP.NET - how to build a stream of objects -


it going kind of subjective question still want raise here.

i planning build stream wall fb, contain objects text post, * embedded videos*, pictures, polls etc. have bit knowledge in asp.net webforms planning use same. question technique/approach appropriate design stream?

will choose web api on asp.net webform or should have rely on asp.net mvc? how can display different objects type in same list (stream)? believe not possible datalist, repeater, gridview etc.

perhaps, seems subjective question may have value perception of architecture.

to me, because web api built on asp.net mvc components. different http packages. need know how handling binary streaming in asp.net web api. have searched , found out of useful stuffs in internet like

all of reference in case want thing that.
